Apleona strengthens its technical services and installation capabilities in Ireland by partnering with Tim Kelly Group

This is Apleona's third sizeable investment in Ireland since 2022, following Acacia, and Neylons.

These partnerships further strengthen Apleona's position as a leading provider of integrated facility management and technical services with a self-delivering model

Apleona, a European market leader in integrated facility management based in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt (Main), signed an agreement at the end of December 2025 to enter into a strategic partnership with Tim Kelly Group headquartered in County Mayo, Ireland.

Tim Kelly Group is one of Ireland’s leading providers of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC and building management systems. The Group supports leading organisations across the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, commercial, and public sectors, with a client base that includes Baxter, Viatris (formally Mylan), and Abbott. Tim Kelly Group employs 190 skilled technicians and specialists across Ireland, with regional offices in Ballinrobe (headquarters), Galway and Letterkenny, supported by a dedicated prefabrication workshop in Castlebar.

With almost 3,000 employees, Apleona Ireland is the leading integrated facility management service provider with a considerable number of industrial customers in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and commercial. The strategic partnership with Tim Kelly Group significantly strengthens Apleona’s leading market position in Ireland as an integrated facility management provider with a strong technical footprint. Key selling point are its high level of self-delivery across the entire range of services, as well as its affiliate Eastway's developed AI-based predictive maintenance services.

CEO for Apleona Group, Dr. Jochen Keysberg, commented: “Until the end of this decade, we will accelerate our efforts to expand and strengthen our European platform across strong European economies. This will enable us to become the market leader in Europe among integrated FM companies with a strong technical services footprint and self-delivery model.”

Ray Casey, Regional Head Northern Europe at Apleona added: “This partnership will complement the excellent technical services that Apleona delivers today by adding installation services. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the Tim Kelly Group teams and management to the Apleona family. Together, we will achieve more for our clients.”

Darragh Spain, Managing Director Apleona Ireland: “We are delighted to welcome Tim Kelly Group to Apleona Ireland. Its strong presence in the manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries is a perfect complement to our business and offers promising opportunities for cross-selling. Building on the experience gained from our previous successful integrations, we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and delivering sustainable growth."

Tim Kelly, Chief Executive Officer, Tim Kelly Group: "We are thrilled to enter into this strategic partnership with Apleona Ireland, which will allow us to combine our strengths and ensure that we deliver a complete range of solutions for our customers in the future. We look forward to further developing our presence in the manufacturing and life science sectors and we’re confident that this decision will open exciting new opportunities for our customers and our dedicated staff.”

The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026.
